A property’s brickwork can be a primary point of water ingress into a home or business. Thousands of litres of water an hour can be prevented from entering a property with the installation of anti-flood airbricks. Damaged brickwork and faulty pointing can be protected with water repellent sealants.
Any unprotected single airbrick on a property can allow as much as 5000 litres of water through per hour.
Arktek supply and install Flood Angel’ BSI Kite marked anti-flood airbrick. The innovative design of these air bricks allows unrestricted airflow underneath the property, yet under flood conditions uses the rising water to automatically shut off. Inhibiting access through the airbricks and therefore flooding underneath the property. Unlike sand bags and covers no flood warning or pre-flood intervention is required.

Anti-Flood Airbrick Cover
Easy to deploy and compact to store, it is produced from aluminium sheet and closed cell EPDM foam, taking only minutes to install. They are simply pushed into pre-placed fittings in the holes of the airbrick and once in place, the screws are twisted to form a tight seal.
Once flood waters subside the cover is removed by simply turning the hand wheels. This cover can only be used with standard terracotta airbricks.
This is a solvent free, water based water repellent which is applied to above ground surfaces such as brickwork walls, cement rendering, stonework and cast concrete to create a protective waterproof seal.
